A poignant reminder from @johnondrasik of the time we came together as a nation, bonded in the recognition of our prevailing sameness and sorrow. Today, I renew my commitment to never forget 9/11 and moreover, never forget 9/12.
9-11 occurred on a Tuesday. I wrote "Tuesday" as a plea to not forget the lessons of 9-11 after playing Superman at the Concert for NY. Twenty years later?...I'll leave it up to you...🇺🇸
Very excited to guest star on tonight’s @lawandordertv !
The episode, “In God We Trust,” examines more than a brutal murder; it’s an intriguing exploration of faith, power and (alternative) justice. So proud and grateful to have been on board! Huge thanks to @WolfEnt@JSCasting Philip Huffman, Shira Steiner, John Behring, Rick Eid and the team at UIA! #LawAndOrder
@StevenGold67 Thank you for sharing that piece about her life. I just learned she grew up in the next town over from where I grew up and we attended the same university. She was failed in so many regards and I hope some good can come from her sacrifice.
According to reliable sources, the true victim of the subway fire attack was Debrina Kawam, a NJ resident who, I just learned, attended the same college as I did. She did not deserve this horrific end to her life and was failed by others in almost every regard.
Adding to the atrocity comes this AI-generated image which is NOT the true victim in the subway fire attack. What’s the point? We know the point. And it detracts from memorializing the true victim whose pedigree may not be as cultivated (or curated) but whose life mattered nonetheless. Prayers for the true victim.
@VictimsRightsUS I’m horrified and embarrassed by the state of the NYPD today. Before I retired in 2020 I worked closely with Commissioner Tisch and have full faith in her leadership. Hopeful that she can right a sinking ship.

I agree with you John and have no regrets retiring from the NYPD in 2020. Beyond having seen it all—and having seen enough—I saw the writing on the wall. So few are willing to become cops nowadays and even as a 3rd gen cop, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They’re desperate to fill blue uniforms and it shows.
@HackedOffHugh I can’t agree more, Hugh. I love my iPad, but this ad reminded me that I need time away from it. I recently picked up the art of wood carving. Just wood + a knife and it’s been the most calming, mind-clearing activity I’ve found of late. Thanks for speaking out, I’m with you.
