it always felt weird that strange went from a total novice in 2016 to casually fighting a 4 stone thanos in 2018.
until you realize the dormammu time loop wasn't just him dying. it was basically an infinite hyperbolic time chamber.
strange didn't just annoy dormammu, he spent decades or centuries trapped in that loop doing nothing but practicing magic against a god. he fights thanos like a 1000 year old sorcerer supreme because mentally, he is one.
I don’t think people fully understand what it feels like to go without touch for years. Never being held. Rarely being hugged. Never experiencing the comfort of someone’s arms around you. I call it starvation because that’s exactly how it can feel in your body. Emotional starvation. Years of childhood emotional neglect can turn into adult deprivation when you’ve learned not to trust anyone enough to let them close.
the weird thing about reading so much as a child and gaining a huge vocabulary from that is I can't define a lot of words i use, i just…know that they would fit correctly in a specific sentence. does anyone else experience that 😭?
It takes sheer courage to procrastinate. You either have an insane amount of faith in your last-minute abilities, or you are simply unbothered by the consequences of inaction. Either way, you’ve sure got some guts.
It took teams like Bournemouth and Brighton 10-15 years to stabilize in the prem and now START pushing for Europe but citeh fans will tell you they went from league 2 to treble winners with the revenue of Real Madrid in half the time without cheating hahahaha
