@Ajarncom Yes a VPN is OK with fast home internet. I also subscribe to a paid IPTV which I use mostly no VPN, but occasionally for live sports works best with VPN turned on, throttling issues I understand rather than geoblocking, so can work both ways.
@Ajarncom You are. If she’s truly saying no, maybe the act of forcing joy, even with love behind it, misses the point. Honoring the MILs dignity tops this.
@0711citizen@Ajarncom That's a TM47. TM30s are within 24 hours arrival in country, but usually don't need renewing until you move Thai home permanently or get a new passport/Thai visa, but can be done anytime also for peace of mind.
@Ajarncom@Richard60756266 I mailed them the form about 3 years ago registered mail and never heard back. This year I phoned them and got a very helpful lady say she would mail out the NI number to my address in Thailand now. Currently waiting on receipt.
@juniorinbkk@Ajarncom I agree, its much less hassle using a phone to top up, but the ID verification also applies so its not a workaround but ease of use when verified.
@bkkray@IanBeardsworth I did my renewal in August with my passport, and they linked my new Rabbit card to my Line phone app at the same time, so I always top up the card using Line since then which I find more convenient.
