the saddest time, to announce my dearly beloved Mum, best friend, inspiration, confidante, my heart and soul: Jean Audrey Louisa Perry (nee Mitchell) fell asleep, died, & passed away Thurs Sept 28th 2023, after a short illness. Mum you had the kindness, depth, style & the love.

My Uncle Donald, my Mum's younger brother by 7 1/2 years, died on December 13th, after a sudden and unexpected short illness, only a few weeks after my Mum's funeral. He was very much part of my childhood. The mysteries of life are deep, and sometimes it can all seem unfair.
