BREAKING: Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has called on the United Nations and international human rights organisations to investigate the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire LGA.
Makinde said the incident is too serious to be treated as a routine security matter, insisting it deserves an independent international investigation to establish the facts and ensure accountability.
“I call on the appropriate international human rights and accountability mechanisms, including those within the United Nations system, to closely examine the facts surrounding these abductions,” he said.
