He lied to all of us. His elbows up was B.S. The counter tariffs on the US were reduced to almost zero a couple of weeks before the election. Meanwhile he continued to lie and gaslight Canadians with his "I'm the one to stand up against the bad orange man" rhetoric. He included the tariff revenue in his platform and then it quietly came out on May 7th that he'd already reversed the tariffs on the US before the election.
