The Clare GAA community is deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Noel Normoyle.
A proud native of Kilmihil, Noel represented his club with distinction at all levels, winning Minor, U21 and Senior County Championships as well as a Cusack Cup. His commitment and talent also shone in the saffron and blue of Clare, where he was a valued member of the historic Munster Championship–winning panel of 1992. Ten years earlier, he also achieved the great honour of winning a Railway Cup medal with Munster.
In later years, Noel shared his passion and knowledge of the game with his adopted club, Éire Óg, where he contributed in many coaching roles. His influence was central to their Senior Championship success in 2000 and their Minor Championship win in 2012, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
On behalf of Clare GAA, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Noel’s family, friends, and all who mourn his passing. His contribution to both club and county will be long remembered with gratitude and respect.
