@TashaMellCoh Thank you! I have a theory that a lot of people think there is a big magic "publish" button that turns their manuscript into a published article.

Key takeaway from this year's Society Member Survey: Open Access is a driver for society membership. This position paper has some great insights to help you capitalize on this trend. https://t.co/zM2HCNd0nI
The thing is, this is the correct shape for a car. It just took us a hundred years to land on it. But this is it - it's either a this, or a small version of this called a "hatchback"
@acochran12733@JenniferARegala Yep this is how we've done it on journals I've managed. The alternates feature is nice. Just can't give your invitees too long to respond before moving to alts. A string of no-responses can drag out the process if you give them too much time.
It was a joy to participate in #ISMTEGlobal. The content, the execution, and the general vibe were all top notch. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers who made this happen! @ISMTE
"an interesting inside story of how Google came to partner nearly two decades ago with a handful of major research libraries to digitize their scholarly collections...a timely and apt primer on the significance of what happened then and what may yet follow."
Wish we had more than an hour, I was loving the conversation and had so much more left to say! Don't miss the recording if you missed the session this morning. #ISMTEGlobal
We're just a few hours from our #ISMTEGlobal session on the what, why, and how of moving to a single-source digital production process — hope to see you there! FT: @MichaelCasp @jjeditorial, Marianne Calilhanna @dclaboratory, Kathleen Seeberg @MSMA1, and Scholastica's @briancody
We Asked the Community: Is Research Integrity Possible without Peer Review? By Jennifer Regala (@JenniferARegala), Michael Groth, Michael Casp (@MichaelCasp) / @scholarlykitchn https://t.co/n73Vp0qaQ3
@maw_tweets It depends on how the board and team are structured, but generally no, the "editorial team" is usually the EIC, assoc eds, section eds, managing eds, etc. The editorial board is typically a wider group who give (often non-binding) advice to the ed team & do a lot of reviewing
Hi @profsassy, I saw you speak earlier this year in Pittsburgh. I'm now working with The Scholarly Kitchen on a piece about research integrity for Peer Review Week.
Would you like to respond (1-2 paragraphs) to the prompt: "Is research integrity possible without peer review?"
