@WhatNowDoc@Miss_Snuffy Our schools (as well as parents), you say, are to blame, yet clearly you run your school properly and presumably keep a close eye on what is being taught. So how can we fix the problem? So many schools, so many teachers. How to get them back on track to a factual education system
Here's the issue: Most Westerners have been conditioned to believe that immigration, in principle, is a good, necessary and inevitable phenomenon. (I call this immigrationism.) It is not.
These are OUR countries; no one has any inherent right to move to them. We are under no obligation to be the soup kitchen and flop house of the Earth. In fact, I'd say we have an obligation to protect and preserve Western culture for our descendants and for the world. Why? Because Western culture is the greatest cultural force for good that has ever existed. And as with the environment, we thus have an obligation to preserve it.
At this point, people need to stay wherever the heck they are and build up their own nations. Trade? Yes. Sharing of knowledge? Yes. Otherwise, though, we must pull up the drawbridge and post a "No Vacancy" sign. Or do you prefer the below?
@Anna_Soubry Anna, you didn't get it then and you still don't get it now! The EU is disintegrating from the inside. More and more Europeans want out yet you and those like you still want to be part of a sinking edifice. Why? I bet you can't even explain why we will prosper by rejoining.
@RichardBurgon Oh dear, have you not been offered anything lucrative Richard? I wonder why? Still, always a good move letting the green eyed monster out of its cage eh.
@johnredwood The bond market is already well above what it went to with Liz Truss yet no repercussions! The EU keeps borrowing yet fails to collapse. Perhaps massive borrowing is the answer - seems there are no adults left!
@BrexitDoncNorth@TheNorfolkLion I'm not so sure it would be that high - 10% possibly but that would be at the expense of Reform and might just be enough to let Labour or LibDems in a marginal seat! To govern, we need a working majority or we'd get nothing through parliament!
@johnredwood Agreed, he wants to reindustrialise but that needs much lower energy prices, more reliance on oil and gas and consider using North sea oil and gas purely for home use and take it out of the international market, thus controlling lower prices for our benefit. Will he do it?
@andy4makerfield@AndyBurnhamGM Andy, use your power to stop the boats, use our taxes to benefit our people. Get rid of net zero and bring down energy bills or you will never reindustrialise if our products are not commercially viable.
@PhantomEngineer@Nigel_Farage And you're calling someone a moron! The EU's migration plan caused the boats - in case you're not aware, France is in Europe!
