Tiger Woods has a unique relationship with The Honors Course.

He won the 1996 NCAA Championship there, and was the only player to break par despite a final-round 80.

Years later at Torrey Pines, Brent Henley, a caddie in Tiger’s group, mentioned he grew up near The Honors.

“[Tiger] looked me in the eye and said, ‘Fuck that place! That’s the hardest golf course I’ve ever played in my life.’ We both got a good chuckle out of it.”
