@coach_ghorton So many different options here. In the NBA, they are often able to switch all on ball screens. If the defenders are versatile and switching doesn’t create a measurable mismatch, that can be very frustrating for a PG. At that point, the screen provides minimal assistance.
The family is fired up that Mizzou basketball is playing so close to NC. Thanks to @MizzouHoops and @coachdgates for taking the time to make the kids feel so special.
@mar5hallhoops I agree. So much of middle school ball is based on who matures fastest from a physical standpoint. It is incredibly unfair to place these kids on pedestals at an early age and then remove them and crush their spirits when the rest of the kids catch up.
@CoachMatt_XO@Anthony_Pugh2 I don’t think that either is mutually exclusive. Understanding the terms helps you communicate more effectively with teammates and coaches. But, obviously, playing and understanding the game is important too.
@yasielpuigmiz Oh man, I had a tradition to get the March Madness USA Today edition the day after the NCAA Bracket was released and enjoy it with a Quarter Pounder and large fries. I still think about that place every Monday following Selection Sunday. How old does that story make me?
@al_mckee_@JeffCatalfino@Buccigross Maybe desolate was the wrong term. It is certainly busy. Was looking for a word more reflective of the overall feeling of being outdated. Maybe depressing is a better word.
ESPN has to re-think their ad placements. I am never going to watch an entire :30 pre roll ad to then watch the :14 post game quote that I had wanted to watch originally.
