I’ve kept quiet on this sudden burst of interest in @CoryMillsFL the last couple of days. “Other things” occupy my time and mind of late. But here are some important questions related to the Cory Mills saga? 👇 1 - How has he survived this long as one of the most corrupt members of Congress? Because of his longtime personal friendship (and shared peccadilloes), with @FBIDirectorKash? Or because of his longtime relationship with @CIA as an international arms trader? 2 - This isn’t his first or only investigation: Stolen valor and forged documents? Campaign finance? Domestic abuse? Felony revenge porn threats? Perpetually late penthouse payments with eviction order? Corporate and financial fraud? Diverting an Afghan rescue flight, to first spend time at a brothel? Claims that he is a closet Muslim? 3 - While I was still with @theblaze, we launched a series covering much of that above list. @Jill_Savage led the charge, then Blaze brought in several other of our reporters to assist. I spent a great deal of time, last year, from late Spring through early Fall, in Florida investigating Mills’ problems. We also collaborated with indy investigative journalist, Roger @SollenbergerRC, who has done incredible work uncovering Mills’ numerous financial improprieties. Many more questions stem from all this work: 3(a) - Why were these revelations largely ignored by both conservative and liberal media? Was there outside influence on media outlets preventing more coverage? 3(b) - Sollenberger - not at all a conservative - struggled to get politically likeminded publications to pick up his work. 3(c) - Jill, myself, the rest of our Blaze team, and Roger … were serving up evidence of the corruption of a conservative, MAGA, Trump loyalist Congressman, and the left-wing media had no interest (until now), of diving into those stories. With any other Republican politician, with far less problems, the MSM would have swooped in as vultures to pick their bones clean. But, not Mills. Very strange. (Very strange, indeed.) 3(d) - Did our Mills coverage at The Blaze contribute to the firing of both Jill Savage and Editor in Chief, Matt @docMJP Peterson? It was at exactly the same time - and BEFORE our J6 pipe bomber revelations - that Dan Bongino and other Hoover 7th Floor inhabitants were calling Blaze executives to try and get me shitcanned. I can attest to the FACT that the Blaze executives were VERY uncomfortable with the work we were doing on Mills, spiking at least one story we had submitted for publication, and discouraging @blazetv show hosts from covering the stories. 4 - Why now? Why the sudden, across the board press interest in the as-yet-to-be-confirmed @TheJusticeDept investigation into Mills? What’s different today, from a year ago, when we were rolling out weekly revelations about Mills? With his primary company now or near bankruptcy, and the recent departure of its CEO (his Iraqi ex-wife), has he outlived his usefulness to the CIA for gun running operations to ISIS and other of our Middle East enemies? Despite Mills’ having received an endorsement from President Trump for his reelection campaign, have too many corruption straws simply broken the Florida GOP elephant’s back? They now see a vulnerable seat in Cory’s district? (Could it be that simple?) 5 - Finally … does this baby belong to Mills? (Photo below.) The young lady who called in the domestic violence allegation, to Mill’s $21,000 per month penthouse apartment in D.C. - Sarah @sarahraviani Raviani - was posting to her Instagram account photos of herself, “9 months” pregnant, as recently as June 16th. Over a month later, there has been no public birth announcement, even though Raviani has continued to post to her X account as recently as this week. It would be nice to know to whom I might send a congratulatory cigar? Is Cory the father? Or, is it one of his “New Years Fun” partners with whom Mills allegedly shared his harem of attractive young ladies.
