Pottering along, anachronistically (so am told) - but always good humouredly, I hope. Mainly arts, travel, gardens, horses and the sea. ๐ฌ๐ง๐ฎ๐ช๐ช๐บ
@PulpLibrarian โAnd I could well do without the hand clapping sequence at the end of Blockbusters, when all of the audience try to convince themselves that what they are doing is silly but acceptableโฆ.โ
Followed into #Newlyn anchorage by @UKBorder - dropped hook before nightfall with @ntmichaelsmount behind; then up at sunrise to beat tide around the #Lizard We were brewing up coffee as their watch was doing same. Safe travels!
@dineen20dineen Inherited one from my Granny - we used to keep it in back of the Land Rover to help Mother get in and out, until it got forgotten in Truro Tesco car park. Always hoped it found a good homeโฆ
Hats off to the #Kinsale@RNLI@KinsaleRNLIfund - out training on a wet and still swelly Tues evening. Watching them through port window with the kettle on.
Not sure if #Prims in #Kinsale is a wine bar with a bookshop or a bookshop with a wine bar. It is however most definitely the perfect place to decompress after long sail from #StAgnes#Scillies to #Ireland#CountyCork ๐ฎ๐ชโต๏ธ๐ฎ๐ชโต๏ธ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ท
Fabulous walk around #StMarys#Scillies - reminded of a gentle age in every respect in the Old Town Church Yard. Would that every world leader held such simple, glorious and peaceful places in their heart. @IOSTravel#Scillonian on the horizon.
@ThisIsIreland3 Sad news indeed. Was lucky enough to see the band in Boston in 2023 and to meet Moyร very briefly after the concert - one of the greats who leaves a lasting legacy.
