I guess I just want to once again thank you publicly for being a mensch, you have taught so many people to trade, myself included, I just wish you the best, most rewarding life and want to thank you for so many great ideas, videos, and posts.
@BestForexMethod
Ok—I’m super sold on the double Bollinger bands idea —thanks Darren—had a lightbulb moment —the BB work on standard deviations, the double BB just takes 1 std is the NA (neutral above) and NB (neutral below) and break of that into the 2nd std is the momo trigger
So I set up my Bollinger bands to 1 std as a visual trigger of where the DBB Indy would be triggering and it works so well with and complements the other ideas so well, the rsi for a bust and pullback, the Macd for exhaustion cycles, so many great ideas that work well
Here is an indicator I wanted to do for a while and when @BestForexMethod asked for the same thing it was my inspiration to actually do it!
It is based on the Double Bollinger Band strategy
MA traders would take the M200 touch, profile view you can see where the limit at the top of balance area should go, and notice that we waited until we made it to the top to finally go the other way—good luck closed for +35, trend day, find a pullback and hope for the best
Fascinated by how different traders see the same trade—3cr would take trade right at the red dotted line would have been perfect—I had a limit based on the market profile with a tiny 5 pip stop—you can see the larger timeframe this makes sense
3 trades
1 for +20
Took a long against trend, -8—thought we were going to retouch the asia midpoint then look like it was reversing—big news later so markers getting into position—another short
+25–will pull it before my very lofty target—seeing if we get one more level down.
USDCAD was also in my watchlist for a break of rhe 4316 level, looks like it would have been nice trade but a bumpy ride—looks like it could revisit 4350’s then blow though or tank—no idea—tariffs and all the junk have made CAD tricky
Thought I would have a go at these Bollinger alerts and —well they are great—@BestForexMethod kept talking about them so much and I finally got around to it—seems to really help with if it’s a good time to trade or sit on hands
