@TheAces It was an awesome weekend on the world's best speedway track. Huge congratulations to everyone involved in putting on the race meetings, not least the amazing GP speedway riders. And just down the road for me in Manchester 😁
@UtdArts1 Spot on. Plus all the negativity towards Casemiro for two seasons. Then when he announced he was leaving, the narrative was that he was a massive loss to United who can't be replaced.
@SportsonBDFM Same reason as in the English Premier League. Agenda driven by TV, League officials, Referees Association, to have the league decided on the last day of the season. It's the Americanisation of British sport. Prepare for a controversial decision in extended stoppage time.
@paulenglish1961 We were robbed in the 1969 European Cup Semi Final 2nd leg against AC Milan. A late goal by United wasn't awarded, as the officials failed to spot that the ball was well over the goal line before a defender booted the ball back into play. 1-2 the aggregate score. I was there 😢
Along with a colleague, I was delighted to represent the Astley & Tyldesley Cycling Club at the King's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.
It was a most enjoyable occasion and great to see both the club and the sport of cycle speedway receiving Royal recognition.
Paul Nagel has been at it again, this time colorzing this photo from Manchester United's FA Cup tie v Fulham in 1905. The United players in red are (from left): Alec Bell, George Lyons, Jack Fitchett, Vince Hayes, Bob Bonthron & Harry Moger.
KAVS PRESENTATION FOR ASTLEY & TYLDESLEY CYCLING CLUB
I was proud and honoured to be one of the members of Astley & Tyldesley Cycling Club who attended the official King's Award for Voluntary Service presentation at Gorton Monastery, Manchester.
