@MikeJerel was killin' it tonight with Tower Of Power. Thanks for a great show!

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@SwitchedOnPop Serious question: have you ever considered using your book as a template for an "Elements of Music" curriculum? Ever been asked about it? As a music educator, I think it would be a great way to get students interested in discussing music!

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@JEWaymire Beautifully written, my friend. I agree wholeheartedly!

@pattonoswalt Towers Madigan. I love this.

@shelleyplaysaxy @frandrescher I've done a little digging and can't find Seasons 3-6 anywhere. They can be streamed on Prime Video, but not in the US.

Cubs: Last year we had 41 scheduled games in 42 days to finish the season because of the weather.

Cardinals: This holiday weekend we play 5 games in 49 hours because of the weather.

Brewers: Earlier this week we had a weather delay because we forgot to close our roof.

@SwitchedOnPop Not exactly quarter notes, but the bass line in Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" meets the melodic requirements.

@SwitchedOnPop Day = Made!

@SwitchedOnPop Great epIsode! Here's one to add to the deCLAMation list: Rebecca Black's "Friday". As if you needed another reason to hate it 😂

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@SwitchedOnPop @MarianHillMusic S.O.S. by Rihanna is an homage (interpolation?) of Tainted Love by Soft Cell including the line "toss and turn I can't sleep at night".

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@SwitchedOnPop The New Chainsmokers song "Side Effects" has me loving the Picardy 3rd or major chord borrowed from the parallel major. So simple, yet so effective. New episode topic?

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@SwitchedOnPop @MarianHillMusic Also, Trumpet Voluntary can be heard at the end of "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba.

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@SwitchedOnPop @MarianHillMusic The Beatles' "All You Need is Love" is jam-packed with songs from the French national anthem to Glenn Miller to Bach to more Beatles!

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@SwitchedOnPop Great ep on #Despacito. Love the link to Africa. #possiblemashup DespaciToto? Also, same chord prog as Moana "You're Welcome"

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@missanissawiant https://t.co/bHwyBddkjb You're welcome.

@SwitchedOnPop Tweeting to add "We Go Together" from Grease to the I-vi-IV-V playlist. Great episode, BTW. Loving all you guys' podcasts!

[Michael Harrer @MichaelHarrer]

@SwitchedOnPop @djkhaled Had a band student of mine who wanted to play "Play That Song" by Train. Instead, gave her "Heart and Soul." She was so excited :)
