This is not how our Constitution works. You can, in fact have guns, and you can, in fact legally carry them to a protest, or anywhere else that the law allows for.

One of the most valuable characteristics of a leader is their ability to hold themselves accountable to those that they are leading and caring for. I have seen nothing but pure BS from those at the top of both the DHS and FBI on this matter. The opposite of accountability.

I get it. it can be tough, and painful, and even sometimes embarrassing, I've been there. But, if you want to maintain your trust and integrity, act in a way that is deserving of both, and sometimes that starts with admitting your mistakes.

It is very possible, in fact, it's not even remotely hard to support the 2nd Amendment, Law Enforcement, and to be critical of mistakes when they are made.

Instead, what I am seeing is complete bullshit.

In footage from the immediate aftermath of the shooting today in Minneapolis of 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, agents with Border Patrol and Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) can be seen searching for a gun, with one clearly stating, “Where’s the gun?” The agent in grey who was seen removing the gun from the waistband of Pretti before the shooting then says that he has it. More evidence suggesting that Pretti was unarmed when shot by agents in Minneapolis.

This is truly amazing. The Deputy White House Press Secretary is claiming that I'm wrong, and that the "tariff rates" on Trump's chart were calculated by "literally" measuring every country's tariffs and non-tariff trade barriers.

To prove it, he screenshots the formula the USTR says was used to calculate the reciprocal tariffs we imposed on other countries. And when you back out the Greek symbols, what is that formula? Trade deficit/imports - exactly what I said it was.

I don't know if the Deputy Press Secretary was misinformed, or is just being misleading. Either way, the Trump administration did not "literally calculate tariff and non tariff barriers" to determine the tariff rates it's imposing on other countries. As I said, it divided our trade deficit with a country by our imports with that country, and then multiplied by 0.5 (because Trump was being "lenient").

Oh, and if our trade deficit/imports with a country is less than 10%, or we have a trade surplus with a country, Trump slapped a flat 10% tariff on that country.

I'm sorry, but the 'peace through strength' crowd expecting Trump to resist Putin was delusional from the start.

Here's why:

- Trump has been pro-Russia since the 70s, and his sons said that they made a lot of money from Russia
- Russians helped Trump win the presidency in 2016
- Trump sucked up to Putin already back in 2018, and even gave classified information to Lavrov
- Trump despises Zelenskyy because he didn't provide any dirt on the Bidens about the Burisma case in 2019
- Trump lifted sanctions against Russian oligarchs and wanted to invite Russia back to G7 in 2019
- Trump stalled 400 million aid and Javelin sales to Ukraine
- Trump and Mike Johnson stalled Ukraine aid for 7 months in congress
- Trump administration is full of pro-Kremlin actors who have blamed NATO and Ukraine for the war. These include Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr. and JD Vance
- Trump has never criticized Putin yet he called Zelenskyy a 'dictator'

We have invested heavily in Ukraine for the sake of peace and security. We must move past today.
