Who I Am and What I Do—Treasure Coast Condos
Background
Born in East Germany, I fled to West Germany in 1974, then moved to the USA in 1989. From commercial pilot's license to selling cars for 20 years—sales to General Manager—then shifted to real estate in 2010. Now I handle condos and townhomes on the Treasure Coast: Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie, and more. I’ve sold hundreds here. Still love sauerkraut. Want to buy, sell, or talk trends? DM me or hit https://t.co/w98IAxSU0T.

Used to be the F&I guy decades ago - when I moved onto the desk I thought I was on permanent vacation. Not once in 5 yrs did I not close the store (except my off days ) - just me, the sales guy and the customer. Desk guy waved goodbye the moment the papers in the deal jacket were still moving
@texasrunnerDFW@financedystop After sending out applications to over 100 companies (well to over qualified with 30+ experience) I am convinced that the biggest stumbling block is the HR department. Virtually clueless about the real job requirements.
There are definitely distinct tranches when it comes to wealth. But almost everyone has a myopic view on this, comparing it to their own experience. When I first met someone who bought. $27mill fourth vacation home, jsut in case he wanted to spent some time here, maybe - it was hard to comprehend - but, as explained to me - it’s the exact same thing as showing a guy living in the slums of New Delhi your new Tesla ($70k’ish) -
@JulieChangRE I’ll be happy if I never have to see another “open concept “ floorplan again 🙄 it’s lazy design and unlivable - the charm of a basketball court
@db_fink She’s just a copy cat - that style was made “famous” by someone else ( and way edgier) - it’s a fad that’ll pass. A couple of years ago it was the agent in a bathtub. Don’t blame her for trying to- but these things are short lived - and get old easily
I spent my whole life in the two industries that everyone loves to hate - car business and real estate. The same doom scenario was painted since the early 2000’s in the car business/ yet here we are 25’ish year later and it’s flourishing more than ever. What these people don’t understand is that neither of those buying decisions have anything to do with $$. Unless you’re changing deep rooted human behavior we’ve had for a couple of thousands years - none of these scenarios will come to fruition
But it seems like every generation has to try on the doomsday shirt
It’s not just real estate - anytime someone puts together a thoughtful or so called “valuable post” showing an actually understanding of complex topics you turn off 90% of potential viewers. The dopamine hit seems to be the only thing that counts and that only gets triggered by extreme opinionated viewpoints. I used to blame the “algorithms “for it - until I realized they’re just a mirror. We get what we are 🙄
@rohindhar It’s always been meant that way - it’s a lifestyle choice not a spreadsheet ROI decision - though it seems people on X live in a left brain dominated world
