Here is the entirety of JD Vance's appearance on The View, which did not go well for him
(and kudos to the hosts for actually asking him hard-hitting questions and followups)
I’m at my ex boyfriend’s business and he tells me if the gestapo comes again he has the perfect place for me to “hide a boyfriend”.
During Operation Metro Surge I was fully prepared to take in his wife, stepdaughter, and him if it came to that.
This is how fragile rural internet is: one small company fails, and families and businesses across 5,000 square miles go dark. 120,000 Minnesota households still lack reliable broadband. My Last Mile Initiative will connect every Minnesotan with broadband they can count on.

The emcee at the No Kings rally in Minnesota, Lizz Winstead, says the quiet part out loud, reminding everyone that the so-called “No Kings” movement is a communist movement.
"I want people to know that if you want to act like Minnesota, or you think Minnesota is a model, what can I do? Well, you can check your ego about what you want to do and listen to the leadership, and when they tell you what they need done, you do that. And you pay enough attention to the amazing organizers who have been on the ground, who actually have the information, who have already done the work, instead of starting your own [group]... you need to be the pack mule."
@StraitOuttaMinn This isn’t a one off. Hookers, cheating on his wife, multiple dui accidents where he is lucky he didn’t kill someone. At some point it’s just who the guy is.
You mean this interview on Wednesday’s ‘Good Morning America’ wasn’t enough to save Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’ in light of video showing her beating her ex-boyfriend?
Lara Spencer: “I want to hear all about your bachelorette journey. But first I want to give you the opportunity to respond to recent headlines about the alleged domestic violence incident with your ex-boyfriend. What do you want to share with us about this?”
Paul: “Honestly, I — it's been a heavy time to see the headlines, especially during this time of The Bachelorette being released and it's supposed to be really exciting time. I'm a person that will always speak my truth and I'm — you know, that's what I'm known for. And so, when the time is right I will be. But right now, just trying to be in the present moment and focus on this and — but the thing is — is my — my kids do come first. My kids come first. And so, it's been, like, just a back and forth process trying to be here in the present moment, worrying about, you know, home and headlines. It's been stressful to be honest.”
Spencer: “We did reach out to Dakota. And he did not — we did not — for a statement. We did not get a response from him. Now we have reports that ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ has paused production on the next season. I know there's a season on right now and then season five was in production. Reports say it's been — it's paused. Is that true?”
Paul: “Honestly I — I don't call the shots with production. So, as of now I have gotten word that it also has been paused, but I do not call those shots. So, as far as I know it — it was, but I don't know for how long and why.”
Spencer: “And — and I know you're one of the executive producers on the show.”
Paul: “Yeah, yeah. I got told that this — this year.”
Spencer: “Oh, you didn't know that?”
Paul: “I — I didn't. No. And I was like, what does that mean? You know, I was, like, like, I think just because we share our lives and we produce like our own, you know, lives.”
Spencer: “Yeah.
Paul: “But I don't know if that necessarily what that — what that means.”
Spencer: “And how do you — how do you envision your future on that show?”
Paul: “Hard to say now, right?”
Spencer: “Right.”
Paul: “Just because of, you know, everything going on. It's hard to see past this. I'm not going to lie. In this moment, it's just so heavy. And when your life is broadcasted out there in these headlines, it's, like, the end of the world.”
Spencer: “Right.”
Paul: “That's what it feels like. I'm not going to lie. But I will say I've, I've been here before and I got through it and, you know, shared my story, my life. So I — I'm hoping that I can do that again.”
Spencer: “Yeah.”
These fires will have huge economic, agricultural, and livestock impacts. Even tourism as some of the fires have been in a pocket of Nebraska that’s popular for that.
Combine this with less corn being planted this spring due to fertilizer cost, tariffs, diesel, and ooof.
If you’re demanding to fly the old Minnesota flag it’s because you value meaningless nostalgia over racism.
It’s undeniable that the old flag had undertones of white supremacy and advocated for displacing indigenous peoples. If you don’t care it’s because you’re naive or racist.
"It's very hard to have a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis right now."
