@welp007 That was the average amount they paid for their shares in that account. They sold the shares within the last 30 days. Bought back today. Wash sale. No new cost basis at the current price. Old cost basis brought back

@welp007 That’s his or her old cost basis. If you sell and buy back within 30 days it reverts back to old cost basis because wash sales aren’t allowed
