Before: Veggie, banana, and cocoa smoothie. During: For a marathon, gels and whatever else is offered on the course; for an ultra, more real food (like watermelon and Coca-Cola!). After: Veggie burgers and fries. #RunWithTheMarines#CignaRunTogether

🅰️Bret: Train with what is on course (@honeystinger, @Wegmans oranges & Jelly Belly Sport Beans). Carb load the day before but don’t over eat. Hydrate on course & add calories. #RunWithTheMarines#CignaRunTogether
@Marine_Marathon I get pumped when I know an aid station is coming up, or spots where friends or family will be cheering me on. I also cherish the moment I first hear the finish line crowds and announcer; that always inspires me to finish with a strong kick!
