Gmail and Yahoo keep tightening the rules for bulk senders. If you send more than 5,000 emails a day, this is your problem now. Want to stay out of spam? It comes down to authentication, low complaint rates, and only emailing people who actually want to hear from you.
Something that drives me crazy about how charter brokers report revenues.
They use Gross Booking Value as a revenue number.
$100M in flights booked, they claim $100M in revenue.
If AirBNB did this, they would be a $90B revenue company.

I dont know who needs to hear this but buying an airplane and then subsequently chartering it out will not make you money. MAYBE break even if you dont use it at all.
Why?
Because you're not the management company. You're not the parts company.
Does that mean they make all the money? No, but thats 15% or so of the costs you get billed.
I broke all of it down in the latest edition of PrivateJetBS — type-by-type data, the macro read, and exactly what it means if you’re buying or selling right now.

Trust the Process, Not the Promises.™
🧵 9/9
The numbers you’re reading on the super-midsize jet market are wrong.
Not fabricated. Not broken.
Just… behind.
And if you’re making a buy or sell decision based on public listings right now, you’re not seeing the market.
You’re seeing its shadow.
🧵 1/9
The buyers closing deals today have three things in common:
→ Pre-established broker relationships
→ Defined parameters
→ The ability to move when something surfaces
Waiting is not a strategy. It’s a concession.

This article from @TheCEOMagazine nails it.
Why more executives are choosing private aviation.
Private aviation isn't about luxury. It's about time and efficiency.
It allows your teams to visit more locations, close more deals, and still make it home for dinner.

Buying jets is all about inside baseball
Here's what you won't pick up from AI or Controller
What’s coming for sale in 6 months
What’s wrong with that serial number's thrust reversers
Who's reselling their delivery position from the OEM
What's the seller’s real take price
Is the seller in financial distress
Why's one supermid market hot while another is stale
Why's that model having internet issues across the fleet
The last 3 paint jobs coming out of that repair shop have looked flat. Go somewhere else
If I forgo a pre-buy inspection for a good price, what are my odds of finding corrosion if the plane was hangared in Louisiana
If I walk away from this deal, will there be another soon
Was the last owner proactive? Or did they cut corners on maintenance
.... the list goes on. Jet brokerage is a research business.
