On Abrego-Garcia, there are two separate issues. One, did the Trump administration comply with the law and are they now defying a court order? On that score, The administration is losing badly. Two, is this guy the upstanding fellow his lawyers claim he is? The documents released over the past two days raise reasonable questions about that—though they certainly don’t suggest he deserves to be confined to an El Salvadoran gulag for the rest of his life.
