9 April 1939. Polish pilot Captain Eugène Przysiecki (pictured) departed Warsaw, Poland with RWD-13 (SP-BNY), Polish touring three-seat monoplane, a diplomatic wedding gift from the President of Poland, Ignacy Mościcki, to the Persian heir, Crown Prince Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
Great footage of F-100 Super Sabres from the 481st TFS, deployed to Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Vietnam, from August 1965. They logged around 3,600 sorties in six months while striking Viet Cong targets in the Mekong Delta and beyond. Six of their aircraft were lost with two pilots killed before the last personnel departed 27 November 1965, leaving the jets behind for other units.🫡
Note: I believe the 63056 shown at start is Capt. Charles Deeds. It's cockpit was for sale awhile back.
