@DetroitStreetVu Through the 1960s this was a busy, busy neighborhood. I remember spending hours at a commercial slot-car track adjacent to the Irving and at the Checker Drugs soda counter a few blocks east of these photos.
@AZinCLE Riding the Wolverine to Chicago last year, they had no WiFi at all, couldn’t even run credit cards in the club car. But I still prefer the train over air travel.

Something at the far eastern end of the city that you might check out, although not a public park, is Detroit Abloom on Manistique near Korte.
