This defense has no other choice but to acquiesce the witness because basically with a video of his client in the act of the crime he has no choice but to go an alternate route of defense. The juror see’s the video everyday it is a long shot he gets off.

The judge is doing his job. He is in control and that is how effective judges keep the circus arena of a trial in check.
People need to answer the question and not over respond because they need to answer more than required.

People who bring camera’s to a high profile court case should be reprimanded.Period. Judge Hamilton is a no nonsense trial judge and I always respect that mode of operandi. I don’t know why the defense has only one lawyer carrying the ball. ..?

Witness intimidation by a defense is allowed to a degree but it is not called intimidation it is called aggressive questioning. Again another civil service gap in knowledge by this generation of twenty somethings. Only answer with yes or no. Listen to the question.

Oh oh Judge Hamilton is not playing games, as a civil servant and a witness in a major criminal trial, you must remain respectful to the process. This defense has done a good job creating some character bias towards the victim. The judge wants it by the book and he will prevail.

Best thing I saw was his ability to listen to the questions and if not to his liking he asked to repeat the question which puts the defense on defense to re ask the question and a chance at mistake by the defense.

He did a great job and showed he can outsmart a high profile defense lawyer. kudos to this witness. I hope he never has to experience the day he saw a man take the life of another man.

African American on the stand in a African American death at the hands of police is a different hit. This witness is dealing with the life of being black in America..they are scared and they react to police in a different way. This hurts this witness. He should be showing emotion

The witness should not be smiling on the stand... he needs to understand the juror is watching his body language. Smiling is not an emotion that is justified in the court testimony. He is a smart ass witness but he may be heading towards quicksand.
