The current pandemic spurred some creative juices from my little brother who proceeded to make me a Plaugue Mask from the 1400s and helpfully included some "leaches" aka gummy worms and my own apothecary shelf of tonics and herbs.

However starting tomorrow, I'll begin my new role of Director of IT at VitalSmarts. I'm looking forward to this new opportunity, the potential for developing new friendships and meeting new colleagues.

The last 3 months have been a roller coaster for me. For those that don't know, I was laid off in early January from Comagine Health where I had been for almost two decades - starting from a lowly Network Technician and reaching the IT pinnacle of CIO. /1

Becca and I raised a family and went through a couple of animals, I met some lifelong friends who had their own families and grew as a person and professional during all of that time. So it was with no small amount of a heavy heart that I left all of that behind. /2
