People don't realize this happens in more than just Indian groups although they are the current blatant group. Asians have been doing this for years depending on the group. Chinese are much more likely to do this but I've seen it in other SE asian groups.

It's very common to have an asian subgroup get some minor power in a tech company and then oust out the white guy by labeling him some way against him together so they can climb the ladder.
