Dear @claudeai I a proud supporter and have stood by during your ups and downs. My employees love you, my devs love you, my security analyst hates you (who asked him?), and I love you. With that said, I HATE your updated desktop app where you’re blending Chats and Tasks together. I think this was a terrible decision. My non-technical employees are struggling ever more comprehending Cowork vs Chat and this is making my life more challenging. The previous Customize UI/UX was far above better - now I need to click a few times to upload a custom plugin. We need some stability in our lives. Revert these poor choses or give us the ability to toggle, and let’s move on to greener pastures.

My team just finished testing refactoring a solution with Grok-4.5. While we saw a significant reduction in cost compared to Opus, Grok failed to produce the same quality results. The root cause is due to Grok’s lacking PDF support compared to Claude. While we are going to attempt to parse the PDFs into a markdown file and retry, we will likely just be passing the cost savings to another service just to have the same quality.

Really excited about what Grok could be, but for now, in a business that does extensive file parsing, Grok still needs to play catchup.

It’s the coaching too. Nurse is incompetent. We have not had a coach in recent years (Brown??) that knew how to play young players with potential and get the most out of them. Our rotations have been trash for years now - even with different coaches. Coaches give feedback to the decision makers no differently than an executive giving feedback to an owner or board.

I agree. We are not moving fast enough within governments nor education to protect the vast majority. Unless if we start making serious progress as a nation and a world, we need to find a way to pump the breaks with AI. I don’t see it happening obviously and the only inevitable course is a complete economic disaster. If there’s no jobs, there’s no money getting spent. If no money is getting spent, well, you do the math. Every single country will be forced to print money because there is zero solution.
