@paddle_down@Hellouncleleo Protecting his crease during non play? During play is 100% understandable but after a stoppage of play is ridiculous and he’s just asking for a penalty to be called. It’s not old school hockey its selfishness
@DrakeMT Refs will almost always call the retaliation 100% of the time at any level of hitting hockey. Theirs no first call to be made, was a clean play along the boards. Bottom line is he should have continued playing instead of looking to retaliate.
@bulis_jan@wDandyy@OwenP29 Then why do players constantly try to poke the puck lose if it would get called for interference every time? What would the point be?
@FutureHabsGM@Ms_NYRangers He never had it covered with his glove. It was sitting inbetween his pads for a split second when Greenway went to poke it. Just think the ref blew the whistle very quickly. Maybe he was trying to avoid a scrum but either way it was blown dead quicker than what has been the norm
@TregeWilson_THW@RichMous@HabsUnfiltered I think an interference call would be tick tacky. Greenway pushes the puck free and doesn’t move Dobes to the net. If every time a player tries and pushes a puck free and it got called for interference why even try to get it loose before the whistle when it could be called back?
@angelomole11@PatLovesSports Yeah it’s very unfortunate. Greenway pokes it free right before the ref blows it. I think it’s overall just to quick of a whistle
@PatLovesSports@angelomole11 The other case to be made I guess with this one and the one last night is UPLs leg gets pushed with the puck might be slightly interfering when Greenway seemed to have poked the puck free but I think both should be goals
@Not__Sven@FutureHabsGM@Ms_NYRangers It’s still not the same as pushing Dobes “body” toward the net it would be 50/50 but I don’t think it would be interference. How many times do these guys poke at the goalie before the whistle if it’s called interference to get the puck lose why do guys consistently try to do it?
@_JordanDecker@LeafsLookout He blew the whistle after the puck got loose, to say his intent to blow it when Dobes was quickly on it is hearsay because of how fast everything happened
@FutureHabsGM@Ms_NYRangers Not goaltender interference, Dobes doesn’t move when Greenway pokes it or Greenway doesn’t drive him back toward the net when he pokes at it, Greenway is playing until the whistle he pokes it free before the whistle blows
