Meet Hannah Barron, the fearless “Catfish Girl” from Alabama. 🐟 💪
Hannah reaches into murky waters and catches massive catfish with her bare hands—no rods, no nets, just pure Southern grit.
Known as noodling, this traditional technique involves feeling around in underwater holes or structures where big flatheads or blues hide.
When the fish clamps down on her hand or arm, she reaches into its throat or gills, locks on tight, and wrestles it to the surface.
These catfish can weigh 20–30+ pounds, with powerful jaws and sharp spines that leave battle scars—Hannah’s no stranger to the fight! 😤
She’s built a huge following sharing her hunting, fishing, bowfishing, and noodling adventures, proving country girls do it best.
This is exceptionally cool — had to share it for this young lady.
Absolutely inspiring.
Let’s spread some good news and support talent when we see it! 👍
