@JimBaxa1@JasonVillalba@RepStanLambert No sir, he is not anywhere close to left. He is quite conservative. He is definitely not for larger government like current leadership seems to be
@abrahamgeorge Never in my life did I expect the Republican Party to infringe on local control as they are doing now. How are county governments, cities and rural school districts supposed to be represented in Austin? We spend less than 0.1% of our budgets on organizations to represent us!

@MichaelRLee7 I don’t know. How did we educate our kids and become the greatest nation in the world without spending $50,000 per student at government run schools? 🤔

Abolish schools? How is that an answer? How do we educate our children? Billions of dollars leave Texas through the charter school system. The same will be for vouchers.
@scottbraddock The real answer, of course, is to seriously cut money-hungry school spending. Better yet, abolish the totally secular government schools altogether. Abolish property tax, abolish the schools. Problem solved.
I will say this… when it comes around to November, when we have one Republican against a democrat… it won’t matter which Republican is running. I will always voted Republican. I will NEVER vote for a democrat.
Now I do prefer Paxton over Cornyn. Haven’t made up my mind about the rest.

@Kress_Sandy@BradBuckleyDVM@jamesdickey@VanessaCTanner Something is wrong when the readability of a 3rd grade test is on a 5th grade level. I take the word of a retired career army manual writer and his research over anybody.
