@BBCNews Nothing surprises me!! Having seen the new “Store” that has opened in Chelmsford City Centre I find it hard to believe anyone with an ounce of retail knowledge would have signed it off. I’d be surprised if it takes £2k a week.

Retail standards are as much about leadership as they are process. This was a really busy store and only 3 colleagues on duty. I could tell they were struggling. But time to pick up cardboard? Fill the milk ? If they had it. Priorities ?

It doesn’t get any better for this particular retailer. I may have to find somewhere else to take my mum shopping. No 4pt milk , no promo crumpets!! No love across the store #RetailStandards
