I don’t use any Mii words in actual listings on Vgen or Ko-fi… those people don’t even checked the links before whining. Besides if you search “Mii” or “Mii models” on Vgen - you’ll see a lot of listings who actually does use that name and sell a lot of Mii stuff in there for a while now (even more than me)

Good question! And no, the won’t. The first thing any corpo does no matter the size of the claim is Cease and Desists, asking to stop selling. Even the most pirated websites with all ROMs and emulators. Lawsuits starts after those letters ignored usually. And it also never touches people who used/bought those emulators or roms, only the ones who were selling/uploading them.

If you search word Mii on Vgen - you'll see sooooo many mii works under that trademarked name openly marketed... no problem. And it's there wayyyyy before I even started Vgen. Nobody cared. There are people who made twice of my sales too! But it's suddenly became a problem when my post made it to Asian twitter...

No i completely understand! It's just 90% of those QRTs are dead-brained nintendo die-hard fans that are hating on everyone who touches them. Besides you should not touch things or buy things if you are worried or doubting. Even if I reassure you - just pass by so you don't have to worry.

"sueing people over dumb stuff"... and it's literally a simple Cease and Desist letter that is basically asking to stop... They don't sue artists, they sue pirates for emulation and pirating their ROMs. And they never touch people who used/bought those pirated stuff, only those who sells them

Aww thanks a lot!! There are different kind of Vtubers. There ARE 3D Vtubers as well. A lot of them use Vroid Studio program to create one. Mine is Live2D rigged model for VTuber Studio - fully 2D rig. Live2D Riggers often try to create a 3D feel by manipulating layers and deforming them in specific ways so yeah, some might really look 3D too!

@9696Pie @TheDummyGirl What are you talking about and how is it YOUR problem? You are not selling these. Multibillion dollars companies don't sue over simple niche 2D projects. The most they can do is send me cease and desist letter and i'll just close sales. Grow up
