@clancystaxicab i would love this! 🙏🏽 i sat in the merch line on friday from 3-9:30pm only get to turned away with nothing when they closed up shop. got back in line 7am-11:30 on saturday and still wasn’t lucky enough to get the poster. even inside the venue 😫 no luck
@DawnRichard@DawnRichard just got an email from the world cafe live venue saying that they’re closing down for business at the end of this month 😫 will there be a rescheduled venue/date?
Unboxing my creole culture vinyls and CDs was emotional. To have done this independently for so long, intentionally pushing genres, breaking boundaries, and proving that you can be and do anything you dream of, no matter who tells you otherwise.
From New Breed to Second Line to this moment, every risk, every sacrifice, every time I chose to believe in my vision was worth it.
This was always bigger than music. It was about freedom. The freedom to create without limits and to never let anyone define what’s possible for you.
Little Dawn would be so proud. 🥹❤️
get your culture shock- https://t.co/2KWp2sBGtm
creole culture out FRIDAY.
There’s something so vulnerable about releasing music into the world. You spend so much time creating something that lives inside of you, and then one day, you have to let it go and allow it to become someone else’s story.
Tonight, I’m not thinking about numbers, charts, or expectations. I’m thinking about connection. About someone hearing a lyric and feeling seen. About a song becoming part of someone’s memories. About art finding its way to the people who need it.
I hope you live with this album. I hope you dance to it, sit with it, question it, and find pieces of yourself in it.
Thank you for giving my art a place in your lives. That is something I will never take for granted.
Tonight, creole culture belongs to you. Handle her with love. ❤️⚜️
Let me tell you, dancing next to @DawnRichard ain’t no joke😅 I’ve never had the pleasure of an artist on GO from start to finish. In rehearsals and on set. She never sat down🤯🤯
i would love this.
i think that the healing/therapy needs to be done off-camera, but a true and honest docuseries that the girls have creative control over would be epic.
CONCEPT! A docuseries following Danity Kane called Saving the Band
Segments:
-Group therapy
-Reflecting on career
-Girls relearn MTB & DK choreo
-Sing at a piano together
-Recreate their album covers
-Talk to MTB contestants, producers, choreographers. Etc.
Some Danity Kane tea to spill ☕️
The diddler would use DK to record songs and then give them to other artists. Either taking away a good song from DK or using them to record demo vocals.
I want a Tell Me, Aubrey’s version. (@AubreyODay 👀 for a future performance?)
Admiro mucho como se ha entregado completa a su público, incluyendo su propio cuerpo. Así que cada vez que veas que baila menos, camina lento o al bailar no se agacha, es el resultado de amor a su trabajo y entregarse su público. Sin duda es madre.
it’s bugging me that so many people on my timeline are commenting on that video of romeo & shawn and saying that romeo flirtingly winked at him, when in actuality the blinking is romeo’s tick. literally look at any interview or any other video of him. leave him alone 😤
i need to know who started calling taylor swift the best female songwriter alive cause why are we acting like mariah carey, alanis morisette, madonna, janet jackson, joni mitchell and more still aren’t here with us?
