In the past 6 hours 94% of Brits have spoken about the weather. In the past 5 years, 7000 Brits have been arrested for speaking out about the climate crisis. I had the honour of narrating this urgent new film. Watch below:

There is little evidence that arts and culture are being treated as a serious political priority in Wales. This is a profound mistake. The arts are bound up with our language, communities, identity, and belonging. They are part of our national life ✍️ @jamesldowns https://t.co/WXdrD6YIYP
I’m so excited to announce that I am presenting four specially curated shows for BBC6 music this week! I’m going to be taking you on four different musical journeys. The first one, out tonight, is about Welsh Electronic music & some legends who you may not know are Welsh at all! Join me at 11pm 🖤 @BBC6Music
🏴 Happy St. David's Day. Before Wales had theatres, it had audiences. In the 6th century, St. David gathered crowds in fields and on hillsides to hear him speak. Churches were too small, so stories were told outdoors, shaped by rhythm, voice and gesture so everyone could follow. That tradition continued through the bards and storytellers who carried the tales of the Mabinogion, holding communities together through shared listening. So today we’re not only celebrating our patron saint, but the roots of Welsh storytelling itself.
🏴 Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus. Cyn i Gymru gael theatrau, roedd ganddi gynulleidfaoedd. Yn y 6ed ganrif, casglodd Dewi Sant dyrfaoedd mewn caeau ac ar lethrau’r mynyddoedd i'w glywed yn siarad. Roedd eglwysi'n rhy fach, felly adroddwyd straeon yn yr awyr agored, wedi'u llunio gan rythm, llais ac ystum fel y gallai pawb ddilyn. Parhaodd y traddodiad hwnnw trwy'r beirdd a'r adroddwyr straeon a gariodd straeon y Mabinogi, gan ddal cymunedau at i gilydd trwy wrando ar y cyd. Felly heddiw nid yn unig yr ydym yn dathlu ein nawddsant, ond gwreiddiau adrodd straeon Cymru ei hun.

As the Our Town company makes its way south to the @Rosetheatre, here’s a little throwback to when the cast first got their costumes for the very first time ahead of opening at @SwanseaGrand. Such a lovely buzz!
Wrth i gwmni Our Town deithio tua’r Dde i Rose Theatre, dyma ychydig o atgofion o’r adeg pan gafodd y cast eu gwisgoedd am y tro cyntaf cyn agor yn y Grand Abertawe. Mor hwyl!
Fascinating piece about a fascinating man. Above all Kenneth Williams was an extraordinary performer. On stage, screen and in life. Totally unique. https://t.co/1Q9hPxX1mg

Last night I was at this extraordinary piece of theatrical magic.@michaelsheen and cast created moments that will remain with me. Mr T.Wilder would surely have loved this interpretation of his opus. I was moved and challenged and the world has felt a little more tender today.
