I made this on Photoshop

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@FurtiveLowbie I know that, that is why Im shocked you are going to the movies specially to watch a documentary

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@FurtiveLowbie lol kinda shocked you are going to see a movie in the theater

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@FurtiveLowbie Are you gonna watch his documentary on Elizabeth Holmes apparently the first half is essentially a Nathan for You episode

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@Exalted_Speed Absolute Martian Manhunter is four issues behind here in Mexico meanwhile ongoing manga can take a year before they get an official print release and if they get lucky, axed manga is send to digital releases only because why bother spending money on works that already ended

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@Exalted_Speed One of the things that people overlook about manga compared to comics is that it takes years if not decades for some series to be released officially on the west unlike comics where you get comics with official translations to other languages in a few months

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@naranciagaming @Exalted_Speed You do know that gaiden stories in manga are a thing right?
Very popular mangas get spin off series due to the popularity of the manga even light novels based on them its not that different from Batman getting different interpretations of his story

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@redrummarts Yeah Simon Killer it depicts a sociopath but he is actually a loser unlike Patrick Bateman in American Psycho

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@PPDPPL_art @GhostWiis Its funny they don't bring up Pac-man, the arcade cabinet came out a year before Donkey Kong

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@AntifaCostanza These drawings I find it funny because they tend to see body image with modern lens instead of the 70s/60s way, Vincent Donofrio character in Full Metal Jacket was considered fat in the movie despite being a little overweight

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@Exalted_Speed Has Marvel ever collected the Unbelievable Gwenpool feels like an easygoing series and is friendly for new readers

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@aveavex82 @WokeDudeBro We have the bad ending in DR1 with Aoi having 3 children with Byakuya, Makoto and Hagakure

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@aveavex82 @WokeDudeBro Monokuma only cares about the killing game the students are free to do whatever they want

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@PPDPPL_art "chuckles" 🤓 ☝ actually they already made a manga before they became popular on twitter

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@redrummarts I think Blood Simple and Escape from New York fit that description but some post modern ones would be Blue Ruin and Primer,
Stuart Gordon also has some good low budget non-horror movies too

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@redrummarts His live-action movies are good sadly he is too much of a nostalgia 80s kid he chooses franchises that nobody cares

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@Exalted_Speed You would think that continue doing the best selling iteration of Spider-man would help the brand recognition the same way Absolute series did with Batman but foresight for Marvel is a little too much to ask for them

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@Exalted_Speed The OP from this copypasta I blocked him forgot why but Im glad I did

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@redrummarts X-men and The Fantastic Four are also part of introducing iconic characters in comics

[Michael Shooter @MichaelShooterz]

@Exalted_Speed People often forget that the process of manga and comic creation are different for one formats for both are collected different and the other is that comic book creation has the pencil work, inking, the colorist etc
