From the 15-year-old boy who asked his dad to drive him to turn in his E-Motorcycle to the mom who turned in the E-Bike her 23-year-old son was riding when he was killed, thousands of people showed up to Buy Back their safety at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office Buy Back Safety E-Bike and E-Moto Buy Back Event at Angel Stadium and turn in their unwanted E-Bikes, E-Motos, E-Scooters, and pocket bikes in exchange for up to $1,000 in gift cards.
Nearly 1,000 E-Bikes, E-Motos, E-Scooters, and pocket bikes, including Talarias, Tuttios, and Super73 E-Motos – many of which had been illegally modified to go faster – were turned in. Gift cards were bought using asset forfeiture funds seized from criminals and the first 75 people received.
E-Bike and E-Moto injuries are the number one reason Orange County children end up in the emergency room. The Buy Back event cost less than the cost of ONE visit to an emergency room as a result of and E-Bike or E-Moto injury.
Every one of those vehicles surrendered represents a child who will not be injured or killed as a result of an E-Bike or E-Motorcycle crash – and that is worth every penny.
Ride like your life depends on it – because it does.

This is the time for Mexico, with the help of the United States, to wage WAR on the drug cartels and wipe them off the face of the earth. We merely await a call from your great new president!
@AdvancedHumans You've previously explained where all the water that now makes up the oceans came from. Maybe inclusion of a brief summary explanation in conjunction (like an explanation alloy 😆) would help clarify for those who have not had the benefit of that prior knowledge nugget?
@AdvancedHumans Awesome! Just wondering if ‘progressively’ might better be worded ‘steadily’ on page 10, 2nd paragraph, 2nd sentence? Contextually, progressively backward appears to be an oxymoron.
@AdvancedHumans This treatise WILL touch some nerves. "No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth." - Plato. I begin to worry some for your safety, C. With law enforcement and veterans in this group, perhaps there are potential resources to be developed? Just my $.02 after tonight's show.
@AdvancedHumans Just a thought. The new intro is really good. The old intro was great. Maybe the new intro could be moved further in a little, and dovetailed in behind the original one? Great work either way.
@AdvancedHumans Don't be a quitter! For fuck's sake! There are 75 of us here who care. I will pick you up and carry you myself if I have to. I have the intent, I wish I had the (your) ability, so don't fucking take away my opportunity to contribute to the salvation of our fucking group...
@AdvancedHumans That treatise is profound beyond words that will fit in a tweet. It wholly embodies the reason I hunger to associate with and help this work. My heart aches for you and your position. People are selfish, ungrateful, thankless, ignorant fucks. En masse, horribly immovable as such.
@AdvancedHumans LOVE it so far! Apparently the * after the word real will come with some future point of clarification. I simply fear the easy dismissal by ubiquitous assholes who will state that there are things in existence which are totally imperceptible to our senses.
@AdvancedHumans It’s like giving medicine to your dog. You understand it’s implications, but that understanding is far beyond your dog. So you have to wrap it in a tasty disguise to get him to eat it.
@AdvancedHumans If the goal is to deliver a perfect message to an imperfect audience, just as you said you wanted to tone down the scientific rhetoric for a specific reason, perhaps toning up the coarseness of the delivery will help it to be more widely understood and accepted?
