The video Shake Em’ Off by Youngbloodz was a real time depiction of ATL in the late 90’s. No flash…..just a straight up tour of Club 559 and West End Mall.
9…….a very underrated album that wasn’t appreciated when it dropped. And also Shake ‘Em Off walked so 85 and U-Way could run. So many great songs on this
@Curtis_Metcalf1 Hell yeah, he told his side….Mike told his side and then OG Vicious Bass (Wizzy and Mike Jewish) came and cleared up EVERYTHING.
“D-d-d-damn dawwwwwwg!”
🤣
@Curtis_Metcalf1 Man me and the homies and the Bassheads were listening like it was a WWE wrestling angle. They had wars it was so bad Magic Mike got on live and explained EVERYTHING. Clay was still possed decades later
@Curtis_Metcalf1 He was there….😂😂. As for why Madness and Magic fell out go listen to “Final Words” and “Fake Is The Game Of The Game” by Mc Madness, he tore Magic a new one.
@Curtis_Metcalf1 Yep, Vicious Base was originally supposed to be Madness (RIP) Lace, Beatmaster Wizzy and Dj Mike Jewish and Magic Mike. Madness and Lace stayed but Mike Jewish and Wizzy read that contract and was like “nah”
This is what down south HipHop looked like in 1989.
Besides Jazzy Jay in ‘88,this might be the second DJ centered album in HipHop to come out at the time.
