I agree that someone who has played year(s) of professional sport should not be allowed to play college after. The 5-in-5 is a classic NCAA slapdash attempt to solve that problem but it only causes more. The real solution is making college athletes employees with signed contracts

UMass had a chance several years ago to purchase all of Hampshire but that ended up falling through when Hampshire was able to remain open

This should be a no-brainer for UMass, the flagship campus absoutely needs the space. If you can buy Mt Ida, you should buy Hampshire

Heard that Gavin Conforth is headed to UMass out of the transfer portal after spending three years in the USHL, followed by stops in Moncton (QMJHL) and Boston College.

Had 54 points in 62 games in Dubuque last season and 30 points in 29 games in Moncton this season.
