@VanderlansJim I remember this Allstar game the most . I was twelve! As an American League fan winning one was everything. I think there are ten or more Hall of Famers in that game . Miss those uniforms.

@vangoghmuseum In the ten years I spent working at the Norton Simon museum of art at Pasadena. The beautiful self portrait loaned out by the National Gallery was the most attended special exhibition. I remember that picture well.

@TurnbullMartin Yes it does. I carried mail in Altadena 30 years . Over time late eighties early nineties Catalina was visible most days until summer. Altadena was the greatest place to work in So Cal. Had the best air in the SGV.
