❤️💙The @MyLouisianaBlue @BCBSLAFound has awarded the BRCC Foundation a Collective Impact Grant to support its initiative, Conquering the Nursing Shortage.

This funding will help:
✅ Expand enrollment in Nursing & Allied Health programs.
✅ Increase faculty capacity.
✅ Address Louisiana’s critical healthcare workforce needs.

Through this expansion, #MyBRCC will contribute to Louisiana’s healthcare workforce by training over 2,200 healthcare professionals over the next three years. We are grateful to the Louisiana Blue Foundation for their generous donation and support.

As we kick off 2025, food insecurity is a real issue for many in LA and food banks stocks are low. That is why in the coming weeks our team at LA Blue in partnership w/ @EntergyLA & @HealthyBlueLA will pack 200k meals, supporting each of our regional food banks.

Yesterday we launch the Million Meals for MLK campaign, a statewide effort to support LA food banks during the MLK holiday week. This is the low point for food banks & w/ food insecurity such a big challenge in our state, we can all play some part in solving the problem.
