Is it me or is ~most medical office staff just grossly incompetent?

Called a place Monday to get on their calendar for an appt, all they had to do was send a link to the onboarding form. One email. It's now 3 days later, I called again yesterday, and still nothing.

There's some urgency for this appointment - we're trying to get in early next week, which we were told is totally possible IF we get our form in quickly. WTH?

This has happened several times over the years. Misplaced labs, wrong forms, wrong doc, wrong insurance, wrong time, wrong wrong wrong.

I had to fire my last chiropractor not for anything he did but because his office staff could NOT for the life of them get my appointments right. They were constantly surprised, and snippy, when I appeared for the appointment they had given me.

It's weird! I get that our medical system is a byzantine mess at times, but they fail at the most basic stuff so often it feels endemic. Just me?
