SB 128, recently signed as law, gives KY school districts the option to allow students to repeat a year due to the disruptions caused by COVID-19.

HB 563 passed the KY house as a school choice bill as it eliminates the local boards ability to determine if they want to enter into reciprocal agreements with other districts.
The KCSD is closed to in-person learning on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Students will have an NTI day.
Meal pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at all schools.
Since this is a global pandemic and people from all walks of life are being affected, why wouldn’t we take all the money and resources set aside for standardized testing and reallocate those dollars to adding counselors and mental health resources for school communities?
The KCSD is closed to in-person learning on Thursday, Jan. 28 due to inclement weather.
