@adamfeuerstein But I suppose I have a political reason too, if you can call it that, which is that I no longer wish to contribute free content to the benefit of current ownership. Maybe that's petty or short-sighted - or both! - but I can't ignore the feels. So I'm (mostly) gone.
@adamfeuerstein I'm still here for many of the reasons Adam articulates, but have mostly moved to Bluesky for two reasons. One, as Adam also says, the signal-to-noise of my feed for professional matters has deteriorated sharply. It's getting better every day at Bluesky, especially the last 2 wks
Hello, friends. For some reason, there's been a lot of movement to Bluesky this week. Lots of ex-#BioTwits gathering there. Please come by and say hi. I'm at https://t.co/ADzfuGysOk.
@CharlesPPierce Haha. Worked for the Udall campaign during the '76 Mass primary. Got up to catch the very first Green Line train on Comm Ave to go into the campaign HQ (I had to unlock it) and call in the previous day's audio to local radio stations.
