Lionel Messi is one of the fittest players in the world, and I would prefer to be as fit as Messi than to be as fit as any other player.

Anyone who understands football knows that aesthetics is not the entirety of football fitness. I personally can outlast many people who have aesthetically better bodies than me. The fittest person on my team does not have a body like mine.

This is not a joke or banter. Anyone who plays football will understand what I’m talking about.

Aesthetics is one thing; football fitness is another.

I’m not sure any player has football fitness that matches Messi’s.

I said this before and during the game. They looked exhausted and were coming down with injuries. The two matches they played during the day were in closed Top stadiums with regulated AC. (Atlanta & Dallas against Egypt and Austria) The funny part is that they were playing in 85 degrees F heat during the Final unlike other games that are usually in the high 90’s. Many people with low IQ won’t understand this. FIFA wanted to humiliate them to pass the torch.
