Very good chance he is #1 at the end of 2026. The rankings are based on points over a 2 year period. He has been so much better than golfer #2 that he would have to have a bad year, and the #2 golfer would have to have a really good year for it to flip.

2027 might be different, but who is on the horizon that plays even remotely as well?

The workers don’t have to agree to those pay levels. They should go get a different job that pays more.

When Walmart has a hard time hiring people for the wages that they offer they’ll offer more money for the work that they’re asking people to do. That is in itself what free markets look like.

This is the biggest misconception about work and value. You get paid directly proportional to the problems that you solve. It’s not about how hard you work. It’s about problem-solving.

This is why poor people stay poor complain about rich people an advocate for socialistic policies…

You’re also confusing equity with a paycheck. You won’t want to hear that, but that’s 100% the truth.
