I had paper route at 14 where I had to do collections. This was back in the 50's. Stalled, not paid, after multiple "come back later" The Post Intelligencer got paid by me, the monthly bill they sent to me. I was making overall, about .25 cents an hour. Learned a lot about management and labor.
