Yall remember this story. Why did another doctor who performed the private autopsy post their dead baby on his Instagram and stated it was for educational purposes.
This is probably easy to trip up the average person because they simply doesn’t understand the difference.
Hebrew refers to Abraham’s family and ethnicity. Genesis 14:13 calls Abram “the Hebrew.”
Israelite refers to the descendants of Jacob, whose name God changed to Israel (Genesis 32:28).
Jew refers to those connected to the tribe and kingdom of Judah
BUT Christ existed before all of them.
Before Abraham, before Jacob, before Judah and before Moses.
Jesus said, “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). He is “the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last” (Revelation 22:13).
Christ was also with the Israelites in the wilderness.
Paul says they all drank from the same spiritual Rock and “that Rock was Christ” (1 Corinthians 10:1–4).
The Mosaic Law was always pointing toward Him. The sacrifices, the priesthood, the tabernacle and the Day of Atonement were all shadows of what Christ would ultimately fulfill (Colossians 2:16–17; Hebrews 8:4–5; 10:1).
Christ Himself said He did not come to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17).
So practically speaking, true biblical faith was always faith in Christ, even before His incarnation and long before His followers were first called Christians at Antioch (Acts 11:26).
Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness (Genesis 15:6). Paul explains that the gospel was preached beforehand to Abraham and that God’s promise ultimately pointed to Christ (Galatians 3:8, 16). Jesus even said Abraham rejoiced to see His day (John 8:56).
This is also why the ancient rabbinic record concerning the final forty years of the Second Temple is so significant.
The Babylonian Talmud records that during the forty years before the Temple was destroyed, the lot for the LORD no longer came up in the high priest’s right hand, the crimson thread stopped turning white, the western lamp ceased burning consistently and the Temple doors opened by themselves (Babylonian Talmud, Yoma 39b).
The Jerusalem Talmud preserves same in Yoma 6:3. The Mishnah also records the crimson-thread tradition connected w the promise, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18; Mishnah Yoma 6:8).
And forty years before the destruction of the Temple in AD 70 brings us directly to the time of Christ’s crucifixion.
At approx same year Christ offered Himself as the final sacrifice for sin, the favorable signs associated with the Temple and Yom Kippur ceased.
Christ fulfilled what the Mosaic system foreshadowed. The blood of bulls and goats could never take away sin permanently (Hebrews 10:1–4). But Christ entered the true Holy Place once for all and obtained eternal redemption through His own blood (Hebrews 9:11–12). Then, when He died, the veil of the Temple was torn from top to bottom (Matthew 27:50–51).
The shadow served its purpose.
The fulfillment was Christ
@seethroughit2@Know_More_News And it wasn’t one ancient Jew that concocted at a story, over 40 authors wrote the Bible, there are 280,000 cross-references - which is literally impossible without a miracle occurring, do not be deceived
@RigoIrizarry Absolutely unacceptable those two laughing not to mentioned he was asked not to attend and then he chuckles with donkey face shame on them
