Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful moms out there. I hope it was full of love and appreciation.
If not, let me say thank you for all your love and sacrifice.
There is a particular kind of love
that does not ask for rest.
It wakes before morning
and always gives its best.
It lives in tired hands
and an unrelenting tenacity
that keeps showing up,
keeps believing,
keeps carrying everyone else
even when no one notices the weight.
Moms.
They build with tenderness, with patience, with sacrifice, with prayers no one hears, and strength no one fully sees.
And somehow, the people who hold the most together
are often thanked the least. ❤️
Moms are not perfect. We fall short more times than we would like to, and sometimes love gets tangled on its way out… in fear, in fatigue, in not knowing how to say the right thing.
But beneath so much of the messiness, there is often a mother who loved more deeply than she knew how to show.
So if no one has said it today, I see you moms. And I’m grateful for you. ❤️
